Too "Cool" To Take Lessons?
Our Focus

If you have NEVER taken dance lessons and, you're not sure
whether you would enjoy taking lessons,  we suggest that
you call to schedule a "Sample Lesson".
$28.00 per person (couple),   $56.00 Individual. 

Introductory Program:
The Introductory Program is the best way to
discover which dances you might want to learn.
Your teachers will introduce several different dances over 4-6 lessons.
You may also have the opportunity to attend a group class!
Couple:  $175 per person  - Up To 6 lessons
Singles: $250 - Up to 4 lessons 

New Client appointments are almost always available Friday-Sunday and,
If weekends are not an option for you, call anyway! 
Appointments during the week are not impossible... there are just fewer options.
If Best Of All Dance cannot accomodate your schedule, 
you will be refered to a dance studio who can.

First Visit Tips

Partners:  Partners are not required for Private Lessons. 
We have both male and  female instructors.
Partners are recommended but not required for Group Lessons

Shoes :    Leather soled dress shoes are usually best. 
High-end Athletic shoes are designed to grip the floor and therefore, should be avoided.
However, low-end or worn-out sneakers (...sneakers without much treading) are usually a good substitute for dress shoes on beginner lessons.
Flipflops and sandals are NEVER appropriate & waste your time and ours. Please do NOT wear them.
Beginner Ladies: Your partner & your instructor want you to have maximum BALANCE while dancing backwards with your partner. We do not recommend that you wear heels during beginner lessons. 

Dress Code:

Partner dancing is an elegant activity. Though Best Of All Dance has a more casual environment than some studios, SHORTS &/or TANKS are NEVER considered appropriate attire for dance lessons. Most capri pants are merely long "shorts" and therefore, should also be avoided.
Relaxed- "Dress" Jeans / Casual collared shirts / Ladies cap sleeve "tops", are ABSOLUTLEY FINE!
Ladies: For reasons you will better understand after you attend lessons, your partner and your instructor will ask you to AVOID wearing a sleeveless top! Full or Cap sleeves would be appreciated!  

Appointment Policy: Appointments are made by calling (816) 436-7837 (436-STEP).
You may also TEXT (816) 436-5299.
       Teachers are only at the studio when they have an appointment; Therefore, apppointments are pre-paid by phone, via PayPal or, on-site (at the end of the previous lesson).
       You will recieve an appointment confirmation via email within 24hrs after payment as well as detailed instructions to a studio location. 
24 hours notice is required to cancel or change an appointment.

Inclement Weather:  
If NKC or Parkhill school districts are closed due to weather, it is possible that Best Of All Dance would also be closed. Clients with early afternoon appointments (before 545) will be contacted with at least 2hrs notice.
Since the number of clients scheduled after 5:45 are 10X greater than the number scheduled before 5:45, clients with evening appointments should check their cell phones for a text message. Best Of All Dance will send text messages if lessons are cancelled due to weather.
